We’re sure we’re not the only ones absolutely fascinated by fossils. Isn’t it incredible how things we find deep underground can tell us what happened on the planet thousands or millions of years ago? It turns out that, depending on the type of fossil and how it had formed, scientists can deduce different kinds of information, and it’s sometimes even possible to partially sequence the DNA of an organism that existed long before our civilization ever existed.
